Terms and Conditions
September 14, 2026
These Terms govern the use of Catalog.show, a service that publishes the catalog of a WhatsApp Business account as a web page. By installing the extension or publishing a catalog, the merchant accepts these Terms.
What the Service is
Catalog.show reads the profile and catalog of the merchant's WhatsApp Business account, at their request, and publishes a web page with that information at an address of its own. The page shows the products, lets whoever visits it choose quantities and put an order together, and opens a WhatsApp conversation with the merchant with that order already written out.
What the Service does with the order is write it, nothing more. It does not process payments, does not confirm or manage orders, does not track stock, does not arrange delivery, does not send messages on anyone's behalf and takes no part in the relationship between the merchant and their customers. Nor is the order stored: it lives in the browser of whoever puts it together until they close the tab, and after that only in the message that person sends from their own WhatsApp.
Who can use it
The Service may be used by anyone over 18 with legal capacity to contract, or by someone validly acting on behalf of a business or legal entity.
A WhatsApp Business account with a catalog and a valid phone number is required. Without a readable phone number the catalog is not published, because the page would be left with a contact button that leads nowhere.
The merchant declares that they own the WhatsApp Business account they publish, or are authorised by its owner.
These Terms also govern the use of published pages by whoever visits them, as far as applicable — in particular what is said below about the order and the total. Visiting a published page requires no registration and no contract.
The content belongs to the merchant
The merchant is solely responsible for the content of their catalog: names, descriptions, prices, images and contact details. They declare that they hold the necessary rights over that content and that publishing it infringes no third-party rights or applicable rules.
By publishing, the merchant authorises the Service to reproduce, store and display that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service, including copying the images to our storage. That authorisation is free of charge and ends when the content is taken offline or erased.
Prices, availability, sale conditions and fulfilling what is sold belong to the merchant. The Service does not verify that information and is not a party to any transaction agreed upon.
The order and the total
The page lets a visitor put an order together and send it over WhatsApp. That message is an enquiry, not an accepted purchase: no contract is formed with the Service, and none with the merchant until they confirm it by whatever means they normally use.
The total the page shows is a sum of the prices the merchant published, in the currency they declared. Unless the merchant built them into each product price, that figure does not account for delivery, taxes, surcharges, promotions or discounts.
Prices and availability are those of the last catalog the merchant imported, and may differ from their WhatsApp Business account if they have changed them since and not published again. The Service does not verify them, nor does it check that stock exists when an order is sent.
Products the merchant published without a price can be added anyway and travel in the message marked as to be quoted. Quoting them is the merchant's.
Prohibited use
The Service may not be used to:
- Publish the catalog of an account one neither owns nor is authorised to use.
- Publish unlawful or misleading content, content infringing third-party rights, or offering goods or services whose sale is prohibited.
- Impersonate a person, business or brand.
- Interfere with the Service's operation, circumvent its limits, or access other people's data.
The Service may take offline or erase a page that breaches these Terms, without prior notice where the breach is manifest.
Taking offline and erasure
A merchant can take their page offline at any time from the extension. Doing so removes it immediately; the address stops showing the catalog and any link already shared stops working. The catalog and the statistics are kept, so it can be published again at the same address.
Final erasure of the data can be requested in writing at contact@argenpix.com. That operation deletes the business, its catalog, its images and its measurement records, and cannot be undone.
Availability and warranties
The Service is offered "as is". It is not guaranteed to be available without interruption or free of errors, nor that publishing will produce any particular commercial outcome.
The Service depends on WhatsApp Web continuing to expose profile and catalog information the way it does today. A change on that platform may affect or prevent publishing, wholly or in part, and this does not constitute a breach.
Relationship with WhatsApp and Meta
Catalog.show is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc. or any of their related companies. "WhatsApp" is a trademark of its respective owners and is mentioned for descriptive purposes only.
The merchant's use of WhatsApp is governed by that platform's terms, which are outside the Service and these Terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, or for the content published by the merchant.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer protection or other mandatory rules grant on a non-waivable basis.
Price
The Service, in its current scope, is offered free of charge. Paid features may be offered in the future; in that case their conditions and prices will be disclosed before contracting and will not retroactively alter what has already been published.
Changes
These Terms may be amended. Substantial changes will be communicated through the Service with reasonable notice. Continued use implies acceptance.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. The ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to the venue that mandatory consumer protection rules may assign.
