Questions
Do I have to load my products again?
No. That is the whole point. The extension reads the catalog that already exists in your WhatsApp Business account — names, descriptions, prices, photos and categories — and publishes it.
What happens when I change something in WhatsApp?
Open the panel and import again. Products you edited get updated, new ones appear, and anything you removed stops showing. Nothing is ever deleted on our side, so a bad import is fixed by importing again.
Does my customer have to install anything?
No. They open a normal web page, on any phone or computer, choose how many of each thing they want, and send you the whole order in a single WhatsApp message.
Does it read my conversations or write to anyone?
Never. It only reads your business profile and your catalog, and it only does it when you press the button. Messages are always written and sent by you.
Does Catalog.show process orders?
No. Your customer builds the order on the page and sends it to you as a normal WhatsApp message. We do not process payments, and we do nothing with the order once it is sent — it is yours, in your chat, like any other message.
What does an order look like when it reaches me?
A normal WhatsApp message, written by your customer and sent from their own phone: each product with its quantity and price, and the total. Anything you published without a price travels marked "ask for price", so you can quote it in your reply. Nothing is stored on our side — the order lives in their browser until they send it.
What are the photos on the page?
Your own. WhatsApp image links expire after a few days, so we copy each photo to our own storage the first time you publish. Until the copy finishes, the page shows the original.
